Ledao’s Alisa de Azul: Miss Alisa is a true Blue Russian Princess with that delicious blue sterling silver grey coat coupled with expressive gold eyes. I frequently am taken back by the depth of her expressions and tell her she has Betty Davis Eyes… she moves very much like a larger wild cat. She is reserved, pensive, and dignified… until she comes in contact with playful kittens, she loves to play!
Her blue coat is very full, soft and heavy…sumptuous… almost like kitten fur. Her eyes are a perfect contrast to her coat!
Alisa is an extremely large, big boned cat, often mistaken as a male by others who are not familiar with such a large female.
It Merits Note: Alisa and her brother, Beau, are quite resilient and had an unexpected adventure on their journey to Western Pennsylvania from the far side of Russia. Both were placed aboard a train and secured in a boxcar making its way across Siberia through deep snow and -50 degrees Celsius. Their carrier got misplaced and after several days a railroad worker discovered them tucked in the back corner of their boxcar, shivering and hungry. He decided to come to their aid and personally assured that they made it to the courier in Moscow and finally to DragonPride. Thank you kind Sir!
